"Acrowood's customers tell us over and again that we seem to be everywhere. We have a huge market presence in our industry. Our busy sales staff is responsible for this, and so is our media campaign. We advertise, we publish articles, we produce the marketing materials that get us seen. Hiatt Watson Writing and Design produces all of this for us and has been a valued team mate in our marketing efforts."

Hiatt Watson helps Port win second communication award!

The Port of Everett, a client for Hiatt Watson Writing and Design for the past 6 years, won its second communication award with our help. The Port won second place with the 2008 AAPA (American Association of Port Authorities) Communications Award for its marketing campaign and strategic plan.

It won first place in the 2007 AAPA Communications Award for its website, and a second place award for one of its publications.

Hiatt Watson writes, edits and designs the submittal for these awards. We also assist them with their newsletters and other design projects. The Port's branding and marketing campaign has been conducted with Hiatt Watson's assistance throughout the years. We just completed a new series of brochures on their terminals, marina, and overall operations.

We are very happy  to have had a long-standing relationship with the fine folks at the Port. Congratulations, Port of Everett!

Clear writing, clean design  - that's Hiatt Watson

Fine writing is a thing of beauty   – whether it is a story that moves you,  or a technical proposal written so clearly and succinctly  you  actually don’t have to read it twice to understand it.

The same is true of design.  When you are drawn into a page by its simplicity, its colors, its balance, then that is a thing of beauty.

In commerce and public relations, that’s also good marketing.

Your marketing materials can’t just convey information. They need to be technically sound, as well as clearly written, and beautifully designed. When you can package that with all of your marketing materials, then that’s just plain good sense.

That is, in fact, Hiatt Watson Writing and Design.
